Terms and Agreements - Applicable to all Quotes
Project Estimates
All project estimates are valid for 30 days from the original date of estimate. Project may be re-estimated if, upon receipt of all project elements, the designer determines the scope of the project has been altered dramatically from the originally agreed upon concept. Printing fees will be estimated separately and payment arrangements made between designer, client and third-party printer.
PROJECT SCHEDULE
Because we specialize in custom designs, we can and will give you an educated guess on the time it will take to complete your project, however we cannot guarantee to meet a specific deadline in most cases. With any project there can and may be unforeseen delays. We will stay in communication about delays if any, to ensure client satisfaction. The following list is an estimate of normal turn around time for projects. Individual project completion dates largely depends on timely file transfer between the client and designer.
- Minor Projects - 2-4 weeks
- Intermediate Projects - 4-8 weeks
- Major Projects - 8-12 weeks
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- A non-refundable deposit in an amount equal to 50% of the total estimated cost is required prior to contract signing and commencement of the project.
- Payment in full, or the remaining balance due is to be paid upon delivery and/ or file transfer of the completed project. Webb Grafix will retain all rights to said work until payment is made in full.
- If payment arrangements are setup before project begins, then payment in full or the remaining balance is to be paid 15 days from receipt of the final invoice for the completed project. See our design contract for more information about late payment and fees.
REPRODUCTION OF WORK
- All reproduction rights on the copyrighted work are retained by the designer. The work may not be reproduced in any form without consent from the designer.
- The designer retains personal rights to use the completed project and any preliminary designs for the purpose of design competitions, future publications on design, educational purposes, and the marketing of the designer's business. Where applicable the client will be given any necessary credit for usage of the project elements.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation fees are due based on the amount of work completed. Fifty percent (50%) of the total fee is due within 30 days of notification that for any reason the job is cancelled or postponed before the final stage. One hundred percent (100%) of the total fee is due despite cancellation or postponement of the job if the art has been completed. Upon cancellation, rights to the art revert to the designer and all original art must be returned, including sketches, comps or other preliminary material.
REVISIONS
Revisions may be made only by the designer during the mock up or sketch phase of the project. Additional fees will be charged for revisions made after three (3) critiques, and for revisions reflecting a new direction to the assignment, or new conceptual input.
GOVERNING LAW & VENUE
The laws of the State of Washington shall govern this agreement. Venue for any action hereunder shall be in Pierce County, Washington, USA.
ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT
The above prices, specifications and conditions are hereby accepted. The designer is authorized to execute the project as outlined in this agreement. By doing business with Webb Grafix Design Solutions, we assume that you've read and agree to the terms and policies above. Your down payment will be viewed as your agreement to this contract.
